How to I know if my antenna is matched (SWR) to my radio
You can check by using a SWR meter. Most radios have built in meters and you can check. For complete procedure see our resources page under the antenna’s and coax section.
How can I sound louder
This can be accomplished by doing modulation tuning and or a microphone upgrade (depending on your unit).
